Mike Detillier on Justin Worley....

Yeah, Jim Chaney really sucks as an OC. :ermm:

I'd say Worley's improvements are mostly due to maturity and the desire to get better.

See Jim Chaney.

Were you a vocal fan when he was actually calling plays? I remember preaching patience even though his tunnel vision was maddening and brought flashbacks of Randy Sanders.

Good to hear. Looking good in camp is one thing. We need to see it one the field. I hope we do

Who's Mike Detillier?

Mike Detillier, based in southern Louisiana, is editor and publisher of Mike Detillier's NFL Draft Report. He's also the college and pro football analyst for WWL 870 AM Radio in New Orleans, a sports columnist for several newspapers and Web sites, and a frequent guest on radio and television programs across the country.

A self-starter who was mentored by New Orleans journalists Hap Glaudi and Buddy Diliberto, Mike has extensive research and scouting expertise that have attracted national attention. Sports Illustrated named him the "Best Unknown Sports Voice" in America in 2006.

Standing still and being accurate is one thing. However, with a new O Line and brutal defense to face week after week, can Worley be accurate on the run? If not, can either of the two QBs fill that position?
Throwing in a live game environment is a world of difference than what he's been doing like you said. Hopefully this praise he seems to be getting will give him the confidence he will need. With that, plus all the hard work he's put in, hopefully in translates into a good season for him.

Yep. With Worley, Mizziou is a tighter game and VU is a win. I think Jones' strategy to "manage" the VU game was a mistake... but it still might have worked had his QB been a capable game manager. Dobbs was not at that point. Worley was.

We definitely played better last season with Worley. Peterman nor Dobbs neither one was ready to play in the SEC. I hope Dobbs turns out great, he in no way impressed me last year. Based on last years play, Worley is by far the best qb we have.

If you hope and pray for improvement, you will see improvement. The mind is an amazing thing...but sometimes.....reality is a *****.

A lot of Worley's success, or any of the other qbs for that matter, is going to depend on how quickly this o-line comes together. Hopefully if it's Worley or Dobbs or whomever they take the job and run with it and we don't see revolving players at the position.

The 5th Monkee, after Davey Jones, Michael Nesmith, Peter York, and Mickey Dolenz. All you Monkee's fans, go to youtube and check out "Goin' Down," by the Monkees or by Mickey Dolenz. Great song!

"Last Train to Clarksville" is my favorite.

I'd stick him in the shotgun or pistol and that might give him an extra 1-2 seconds to find a receiver. I'd also bootleg and roll him out. The thing they will need to do is stay out of 3rd and long situations. I'd let the OL maul people.

If at the bare minimum, Worley stays healthy and performs like he dad last year this team should win at least 6 games. If he improves(he should), it opens the door to other possibilities with the likely ceiling at 8 wins. Imo
