"Goins is what he is at the point; vols might want to re-examine McBee getting the back-up mins there, Golden talented but inexperience shows."

TFair13: "McBee at the point? Not a good move"
MikeGriffith32: "Sure was at Geo and Vandy- 2 best SEC wins."

"McBee played excellent at PG earlier this season- especially against Vandy."

I wish I was kidding.

I think Mcbee plays the position better than Golden. The whole missing wide open shots though thing is a major issue lately.

I wish I could say I was surprised by this. This is just the typical slop that Griffith writes. He is a complete idiot.

Yes, at least he won't turn it over every time up the floor and let loose airballs. I'd prefer Bone.

Saying McBee at PG over Golden at PG is beyond ridiculous. I've believed the entire season that the reason our PG play is poor is as much a function of our offensive system as it is the players in it.

"McBee" and "solution" should only be included with a sentence that also includes "Maryville College".

Mike Griffith was also on the radio two weeks ago arguing that the SEC wasn't down this year and was on par with the Big 10 and ACC.

Yeah, a selfish stiff who drove UNC right into the NIT last year would fix everything.

What are you talking about? Have you seen UNC? There offense hasn't been the same without him...in a good way.

Riddle me this Batman.

Josh Bone at the point?

Doesn't penetrate that well - but best defender in the mix and defenses can't sluff because he can hit a three and he does understand distribution a little bit and doesn't turn it over or dribble it to death.

Just a thought and certainly better than Griffith's. McBee just can't keep up defensively with SEC point guards.

This is what happens when you lose key recruits that were committed for over a year. All of this recruiting stuff would be much better if these kids weren't so easily manipulated.

Our point guards are just not good, it does not matter who we put there. Goins probably pisses me off the most. He is a senior and has the worst decision making skills on the team.

I think the problem is we substitute way too much. I understand rotating Fields and Williams, but McBee, Pearl, and Golden come in a little too much, in my opinion.

McBee needs zero playing time til he can knock down the 3 consistantly like the shooter he was suppose to be. He's a weakness on defense anyway, if he could just slow down and make the shots, then we could deal with his defense. Goins was better last yr, he'd take those 8-10 ft shots in the paint and make them, this yr it's wildly to the rim or a jacked up 3....I find myself liking Bone alot more, plays smart, in control, solid D, and can hit open 3's.

Tyler Summit.

(and no, while I'm a huge Tobias Harris fan, and I feel sorry that he came here to waste his talent on us....he would be a terrible PG. He CAN dribble drive, handle the ball on ocassion (moreso than most at his position), but he couldnt handle the defensive pressure at the PG position.))

You'll get your chance one day Tyler.

The one thing that does surprise me about Griff's being on the radio is his notably effeminate voice.

If you've ever heard him you can attest to the fact that it makes Hooks' voice from the Police Academy movies sound like Luke Campbell. On full blast.

Griff has reached a new low.
