What I want is for you to name a coordinator you feel qualified to replace Sanders and why. I agree they don't have to be a 'name', lots of great minds out there you've never heard of I'm sure. I'd just like to hear you make a point other than just being generally critical coach Sanders and not offering options.

I don't care who it is. Johnny Majors, Bill Battle, Bill Curry anyone who has football knowledge beyond Morristown and Knoxville. And at present time I don't have a list of unemployed football coaches. When that position opens up there will be PLENTY of resumes hit Fulmers desk.

Why not add Lou Holtz to that and they could coach by committe under the icon of the convelesent crush  Seriously those men you named all have football knowledge but their styles are antiquated and have been anaylized before so anything they could bring to the table would be easily matched up on? Maybe they could come in and construct a powerhouse who knows. :dunno:

The RS system is antequated as well. Think of it's roots. Majors,Fulmer, Cutcliffe, Sanders. That is his education. We need to update the "system" we use, badly.

good point....we Vol fans who live a distance away would get to see more games televised if that were the rule rather than the exception... :good:

You are always welcome at Pugsley's Library (sports bar) in Dallas. We get the feed for every game and have people that drive from as far as Austin. :dance2:
