Agree 100% I have been looking forward to this since it was announced… Do feel sorry for him given the stadium name transition… Nissan to Neyland… too easy to slip into Nissan, been saying it so long…

If MK can control the "nails on a chalkboard" screaming he will be incredible. Foster & Hubbs are great. Swain????

Huge upgrade!!!!! Been waiting 27 years for Mike Keith to be the voice of the Vols

Are there really people in this forum but aware that had Mike not left the Vol network for the oilers job that Bob is probably never the voice of the vols? And once Bob gets the job Mike is to loyal to Bob to ever stir that up

I listened to Mike some the last 6-7 years on the Titans. I like that he’s excited when his team scores & isn’t when the opponent scores. My only complaint of John Ward was he’d shout “touchdown Alabama” instead of “the cheatin ass SOBs scored”

the illusion of impartiality used to be a big thing in sports broadcasting. I kinda liked it. Made it feel like the broadcasters were some kinda high priests or something

He DID sit with John Ward before the Titans!
I know that, big part of the reason I was hoping he would be the choice to be the new Voice of the Vols… but he did slip and caught himself once yesterday saying Nissan before quickly changing to Neyland… it wasn’t intentional, & I completely understand why. I was simply saying that since he was with the Titans so long it’s a little easy for Nissan to roll right off the tongue instead of Neyland since both start off sounding the same.

I learned very little about what happened in the actual spring game when they were the only source of information available. Hopefully he's more descriptive for an actual game.
