he interviewed for the bears job at the east west shrine game many years back. he was never offered and it wasn't a formal interview. his agent also said he turned down the USC job before pete carroll which also was complete bs.

Washington produces very few elite div 1a players, and their fanbase expects to be regurally winning pac-10 championships.

That may be true, but the state produces a surprisingly high number of NFL players, ranking just behind Alabama, New Jersey and Michigan. Tacoma is listed amonst a bunch of southern and a few California cities when evaluating NFL players per capita. That said, the Big Sky country to the east is the worst for producing NFL talent.

Hill would have Washington in the top 3 of the Pac-10 within 3 years. The problem is they need to hire younger.
