Unfortunately will not happen. I like Heupel and I think he could win a natty with the right support staff, but I also think that his loyalty to mediocre assistant coaches could be his demise in the future.

Say what you will about Saban, but the guy was cutthroat and cared about winning. The best coaches have no issues trimming the fat regardless of personal relationships.

The bigger problem would be court. This type of deal would never hold up. The NCAA has gotten fleeced in every single court case in recent history. No chance they’d have a prayer in this one, either.

I say eliminate the NCAA. I hope they get sued and lose into oblivion. They're nothing but a bunch of hacks that rake in money they had nothing to do with making anyway.

He still has some up in his posts if you scroll, also his bio still says vol football. Portal is closed now as well. I think sometimes these kids just like stirring the pot. Many of them are still teenagers after all.

That’s fair. I’m not a fan of the NCAA personally, but the more the lawyers have gotten involved and the more power players have been given, I can’t say I’ve become MORE of a fan of the state of college football.

Grass always appears greener.
