I think you're dramatically underestimating Ole Miss' fans delusions. They fired David Cutcliffe after going 44-29 with 5 winning seasons because he had one bad season (out of 6). They think that's a top 10 program nationally. They expect to win the SEC every year. They think Hugh Freeze proved they could be a top program (even though they were cheating).

Florida State is a much better job. Sure, the expectations there are insane (as proven by Taggart getting fired after 1.5 years), but at least you have a chance at meeting them.

I think Ole Miss and Arkansas are both really bad jobs right now. Nice paychecks, but tough to succeed given the current circumstances. Florida State's AD is crap, but that's a place where you can win a national title.

He can't do that any more now that T. Boone Pickens is dead. Pickens was the "deep pocket" that allowed OK State to constantly give Gundy a raise every time he pretended to be interested in another job.

Actually, this makes waaaay too much sense to happen. OP will find a way to Butch it up. OP could Butch up a wet dream.

If Norvell get a HC at FSU or any other higher tier university it would be my guess one of the first calls he makes is to David Johnson. With FSU or Ole Miss, ect. then Norvell would be able to lure Johnson away. IMO David Johnson is a great asset and a line to Memphis. I certainly do not think we should let coach Johnson go if we can prevent it.

Not sure what Campbell's buyout is but if your name isn't NFL or Penn St then Rhule's buyout will be astronomical.

No doubt, maybe if Texas gets tired of Tom Herman being mediocre they could swing it, but I'd imagine it'd take truckloads of cash to pay that man's buyout.
