Haven't heard, but an f something DID crash in the same area, right before this, and it's weird to me.

When the Blackhawk went operational a long time ago it quickly snagged the nickname crashhawk. Turns out they had a nasty EMI issue related to RF interference that impacted the tail planes. They would be flying along and the tail plane controls went awry and the helo would face plant. The Osprey was plagued by transmission problems if I remember right that finally got them grounded while they worked thru the issue. I didn’t read your article but I’ll guessing that is what was referenced.

One with a very checkered past. Beyond the deaths you have the typical bloated government contracts, blown time lines etc. I am saying we should want better than the Osprey.

It’s the first generation. They will only get better from here.

How many pilots did the F-14 kill before it was the baddest thing with 2 wings?

20 years from now when it exits service it will be one of the safest platforms out there. It’s the origin design of a concept and they’re rolling in updates as they figure them out.

Military aviation deaths and accidents happen all the time. Lots of variables with maturity and all sorts of variables.

It’s never been done. 1st generation technology.

Hey guys, I'm going to put this here. ALERT! If you havent heard yet,

There was some guy in TUPELO, MISS that highjacked a BEECH aircraft and started buzzing Tupelo threatening to to crash it into a walmart. They evaced the walmart and this dude took off north in a stolen beech. Some saying he is headed to TENNESSEE, probably memphis area if so. Just thought I'd let you guys know. If you hear a prop plane coming at you, keep your head on a swivel.

No, this is not a joke.
