Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

'I'm a Latina Democrat - and if progressives think DeSantis appalls me, they're dead wrong': In a searing attack on 'smug liberals', top former party leader powerfully declares it's time for her own side to get real about America's border crisis

More than two million undocumented immigrants will be arrested trying to cross into the U.S. in 2022.

And Democrats don't bat an eye.

But fly 50 migrants to one of the wealthiest places in America, spotted with multi-million dollar mansions, surrounded by the mega-yachts of the rich and famous and Democrats lose their minds?

What a joke!

I am a Democrat and the former Majority Leader of the California State Senate. The first woman to ever hold that position. I am also a proud Latina.

I am telling you that if the Democratic party thinks that Latinos are outraged by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sending migrants to Martha's Vineyard – they are dead wrong!

This Democratic stronghold - where the Obamas now reside - couldn't stomach having 50 brown migrants in their midst without declaring an emergency and shipping them out of town within 24 hours.

  • The 50 migrants who were flown into the affluent island by Gov. Ron DeSantis are now being moved to a military base 32 miles away
It was declared a humanitarian emergency, with the island leaders responding in the same way as a hurricane.

They will be travelling from the elite island of billionaires with holiday mansions - including multi-million homes owned by the Obama's and Oprah - to the military base on the mainland, escorted by police.

The median house in Martha's Vineyard is worth almost $800,000, according to the census, and the median household income is $77,370 - well above the national average of $67,521.

They are in the way for the cheese and tea crowd. Those chaps can't be bothered with illegals more than a couple of days.

Here's the thing, and people on the left don't understand it, Hispanics are slowly turning against Democrats. The ones in charge think they're stupid, but they see they're being used for vites, and they hate it. That's from my friends, even a few who are "illegal " . Once Democrats start seeing that in the elections, they'll change their tune about the border. You wait, it's coming.

Border crisis laid bare: Eerie Night Vision Footage Shows more than 500 people marching into Texas over one night - while 2,500 miles away liberal Martha's Vineyard melted down over just 50 migrants

  • The video showed sprawling lines of people queuing in Mexico before slowly making their way into Eagle Pass
Shocking night vision footage shows the moment more than 500 migrants sneaked across the southern border into Texas - despite Kamala Harris claiming it was 'secure'.

The jaw-dropping thermal imaging video showed sprawling lines of people queuing in Mexico before slowly making their way into Eagle Pass overnight.

The three huge groups were spotted marching over rough terrain while being herded by what appeared to be a lesser number of guides.

The footage is the latest damning indictment against the Biden administration's failed attempts to crack down on the number of migrant crossings - which is believed to have been around two million so far this year.

It also makes a mockery of Vice President Harris, who earlier this week claimed in a TV interview the border was 'secure' and tried to blame Donald Trump's administration for the crisis.

What homeless crisis? Dozens of Rooms and Properties Avaliable on AirBnb in Martha's Vineyard - after homelessness director claimed 50 illegal immigrants could not stay because the island has 'no affordable housing'

  • Lisa Belcastro, homelessness director of the island, yesterday made the sensational claim that the affluent area has a ‘housing crisis’
  • The author herself has a four bed and four bathroom luxury $3.6million mansion on Martha's Vineyard, in a secluded part of the town
  • Private rooms and small guest stays are on offer for $180 a night, as well as much larger multi-bedroom properties for $10,000
Dozens of modest properties and homes are available for rent on AirBnb on Martha’s Vineyard, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Private rooms and small guest stays are on offer for $180 a night, which could have been used as a stop gap for the migrants to be housed.

Lisa Belcastro, homelessness director of the island, yesterday made the sensational claim that the affluent area has a ‘housing crisis’.

Speaking after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent two planeloads of migrants to the pretty coastal town, Belcastro claimed that the island cannot support the addition of 50 more people.

Belcastro, who herself lives in a lavish four bed and four bath $3.6million property in a secluded part of the island, is one of the liberal officials who declared it a ‘humanitarian emergency’ – reacting as they would to a hurricane.

Earlier today he announced plans to ferry the illegal immigrants across to the mainland to military Joint Base in Cape Cod – 32 miles away.

Properties available on the website range from $180 a night to $10,000 for more lavish multi million homes.

They could be used to house the migrants – but it is clear they would not fall into the ‘affordable housing’ category.

The Island Housing Trust has also set up a system for one, two and three-bedroom single-family home townhouses in the area – with properties on at least 14 streets available.

Martha’s Vineyard also has a rental assistance programme, which runs across the six Island towns, for residents making less than the 80per cent area median income.

El Paso looks like a ‘third-world country’ after Texas border city is Overrun by Migrants

Shocking photos show President Biden’s border crisis has hit a new peak in El Paso, Texas — where a historic flood of migrants has turned the city into what a local pol says resembles “a third-world country.”

Regional Border Patrol Chief Gloria Chavez posted snapshots Monday night on Instagram that showed hordes of migrants dumped under an El Paso bridge over the weekend because the city has no more room to even process them.

“We’ve never seen anything like this,” said outraged US Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas), whose district covers part of the city, as El Paso began grappling with its highest daily influx ever last month.

Martha’s Vineyard Local Calls on Obamas to open their $12M home to migrants

A longtime Martha’s Vineyard resident says she supports Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ move to relocate migrants to the vacation island as a way of highlighting the border crisis — and says the Obamas should open their $12 million home to the newcomers.

Jane Chittick, a former town official-turned-crime novelist, has lived in Martha’s Vineyard for 42 years but now spends part of the year in Florida.

Speaking to The Post on Friday, Chittick said: “I don’t think people like the Obamas with huge estates who live here in the summer will care (about the migrants).

“They have all these signs: ‘Private Property,’ ‘No Trespassing,’ ‘Do Not Come,’ ‘Police Are Patrolling.’ They’re not going to be on the streets in town or the church where a lot of the migrants were put last night.”

Former President Barack Obama owns a $12 million estate on the island, where he famously threw a massive party celebrating his 60th birthday amid the coronavirus pandemic in August 2021, attended by hundreds of his celebrity friends.

“I would love to see the Obamas open up their huge property and erect tents and look after all these people while they’re being processed,” Chittick said.

Meet the Vulnerable Congressman Who Helped Spark an Immigration Crisis in Maine

Rep. Jared Golden championed legislation that provides Free Housing for asylum-seeking migrants

A vulnerable Maine Democrat spearheaded an effort to make migrants eligible for his state's welfare program, a policy that may hurt him at the ballot box in November given that it has resulted in a costly overflow of asylum seekers in the city of Portland.

As a state legislator, Rep. Jared Golden championed a bill in 2015 that declared asylum-seeking immigrants eligible for the state's General Assistance program, which provides free hotels, meals, and other essentials to elderly and homeless Mainers. As a result, an estimated 1,200 immigrants are now receiving emergency housing in Portland and are unable to work until they receive government approval, a process that can take several months. Portland officials in May informed federal immigration agencies that the city's hotels reached full capacity and are unable to shelter additional asylum seekers—just as federal funds for the program are set to expire.

Biden Admin Awards $80 Million Contract That Prohibits GPS Monitoring Of Illegal Immigrants

Experts say system will make it impossible to keep track of migrants released into US

The Biden administration is spending nearly $80 million on a new system to monitor illegal immigrants that prohibits the use of any GPS technology, a decision that experts say will make it impossible to locate their whereabouts after their release into the United States.

The system, according to government records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, is meant to track illegal immigrants via monthly check-ins via phone. Migrants released into the U.S. interior aged 18-19 are eligible for the program. Any GPS monitoring that would give exact locations, such as ankle monitor tracking, is explicitly forbidden, according to the contract.

DeSantis On Newsom Urging DOJ Probe Over Migrants: ‘His Hair Gel Is Interfering With His Brain Function’

RDGN-scaled.jpg

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) slammed California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) during a press conference on Friday after Newsom urged the U.S. Department of Justice to open a criminal investigation into Florida and Texas sending illegal immigrants to Democrat-controlled areas across the country.

Newsom went as far as to absurdly suggest that DeSantis sending the migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, a rich and progressive island off the coast of Massachusetts, potentially constituted “kidnapping.”

DeSantis responded to the remarks during a press event Friday afternoon, saying that the over-the-top amount of hair gel that Newsom uses was “interfering with his brain function.”

A Go fund me page was set up for the Martha's Vineyard Community Foundation to help illegal aliens. Here is what the page said about where the money ($43,031) will go:

UPDATE (Friday, 9/15, 11 AM): The migrants left Martha's Vineyard for the Cape this morning. You are welcome to still give to support the MV Community Foundation and its ongoing work, but any donations as of 11 AM today will go to shoring up the organizations that provided assistance over the past few days and to building up a reserve to assist situations like this in the future, rather than directly helping this group of migrants and their situation.
