No, you missed the point. You seemed to be more upset that he brought over a Venezuelan flag as they crossed the border... not the fact that they crossed the border in general. Somehow it seems like them bringing over another flag was just too much.

So why bring a Venezuelan flag across the US border? I watched the ******* carrying it, he was stabbing it towards the border patrol agents. They should have shot his ass.

If you are fleeing your country not as a refugee of war but because the country has failed, then why would you carry the flag? Immigration with assimilation certainly helped build this country - the mix of cultures. Illegally entering the country, making no bones about it, and waving the flag of your home country while doing it is wrong in many ways. You miss the point: the guy is not only crossing the border illegally; he's flaunting it and apparently showing allegiance to his home country to boot.

That was the outrage. That he brought a flag along and was displaying it was just adding fuel to the fire. Basically saying I'm illegal, I'm crossing your border, and I'm flaunting it right in your face. It's saying we are impotent - that we can't stop them. We could, of course, but our leaders lack the will, and our leftists couldn't stand the thought that we would use the force to send the necessary message. They absolutely at this point should be met with force - lethal if necessary to make a point.

It is a mess.

Let me offer a simple thought that we often take for granted.

When we pass from state to state we always see the border sign of the state we're entering "Welcome to.......". There is a sense of sovereignty, pride and ownership rights.

We know that there are border disputes between Tennessee and Georgia about the land and stretch of highway west of Chattanooga on I-24. Borders matter even between the states. Pride in borders matter. Just not to the federal democrats who see opportunities of power.

Three Border Patrol tactical unit agents shot and killed an armed Mexican national after he illegally crossed near San Luis Port of Entry in southwestern Arizona. The man was with five other migrants on October 30.

A Yuma Sector Border Patrol camera operator observed a group of six migrants entering the U.S. from Mexico on October 30 about 1.8 miles west of the San Luis Port of Entry, according to information obtained from U.S. Border Patrol officials on Monday. The operator determined one of the migrants was armed with a handgun and notified Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC) agents of the crossing and hazard.

Incredible. They monitored all the illegals crossing and only detained the one determined to be armed. Why not pass out tickets to Disney to the others for good behavior? We monitor a highway of illegals and simply let them go their merry way. That's insane.
