Milton is a very tentative runner, he turns sideways to absorb blows. He is the definition of a QB that you don’t won’t at a wildcat. I can see him at 3rd and 4 and instead of sticking forward turning sideways getting driven back by a host of D and coming up short. He’s big but..,.,
Everyone who has seen him in person is in awe of his physical stature. It's understandable why people want to see him run the ball. But you need a certain kind of mentality to do it and it seems like he's just not that guy.
It's the same reason as to why Jameis Winston was labeled a "dual threat" QB even though Peyton Manning had a faster 40 time at 4.80 seconds compared to Jameis' 4.97 seconds.
I came in here to post that the Qb doesn't play in a wildcat formation because the center snaps the ball to him every play anyway and also to ask what Milton has ever done to make anyone think he should have his own running package installed, but you guys are doing a bang up job of it, so I will just leave it right there.
Don’t need to sub Milton in to run a single play allowing UGA to bring on fresh bodies. The only time we really should be subbing is to switch out RBs and WRs
Do you think it has to do with toughness? (or lack thereof) I have known many big guys who were just not very tough. Many of them have never need to be tough, their size has been intimidating enough. Also many big guys are mild mannered because they know they may hurt a little guy accidently.
