Actually what does it matter if Trump's shot as president boosts his business image anyway? We've had decades of people who entered congress with nothing and left with millions. Virtually every president and member of congress has made money after office with book deals and/or as a lobbyist. It's nuts for people to go after Trump about piddling stuff while they ignore the real DC scourge of corruption. The point that gets me is that most people in government aren't free to walk away and profit from their experience in government, yet there's the blind eye to politicians, cabinet members, and other high ranking officials - often to include the fact that they keep a security clearance that really opens doors. Trading on government positions is no different from walking away with government property and selling it - just the difference in white collar vs blue collar crime. One is less violent and less physical risk but generally has more victims and pays better.
