Mincey off field issue last week

Mincey isn't known for his physical play despite his size, but he is better than Crawford. For all the talk about having better depth across the board, one area where no one has applauded our depth is on the OL. That has to be concerning for next year.

Jeez if we can't think of any other good reasons can we legalize so we can win some more football games? Come to Tennessee you can smoke as much dope as you want as long as you show up to practice on time!

Player busted and no news media announcement for 3 days. How is THAT for news suppression!
He has a little bit of bud and you want it treated like breaking news. Stop caring so much about the lives of college kids, it's ****in weird dude.

Does he not realize there’s delta 8/9/10 plus smokesble delta variants that do the same thing and are 100% TN legal?

It’s not about what he got cited for, it’s about the fact that a player was cited and it didn’t get found out. Media usually go over arrests/citation records for the city/county daily. A key player getting cited 2 days before a key game against a team he played for is a news story.

Just what I want to watch… football game with majority of the players high…
So you missed the Colorado vs Colorado State game?

Pretty sure MLB, the NHL, the NBA, the NFL (beyond training camp), etc either no longer test or no longer have penalties for positive tests.

Maybe the government should stay the heck out of people's lives unless you're operating a vehicle or something impaired. Simple possession is truly a victimless crime and NO ONE in America needs the government to be their nanny.

Why didn’t Sampson play? Was that a game plan thing or is there something else to it?
I've read he was suspended? There was 3 of them suspended.

What I can't understand is if Mincey was suspended why did he play on special teams I've read he did. Makes zero sense.

I missed the Colorado game.

you’re confusing two issues. I’m sure Heupel must have rules for either possession or getting caught. I agree simple possession shouldn’t be a violation. In fact, I don’t mind if players used after games or Sundays for recovery. But Thursday night before your big game? Tests are out there that weed does reduce aggression & focus, not something you want with a RT.

Mincey played on Saturday according to UT
I'd seen special teams. That can't be the case can it? You won't let him play the OL but you do play him on special teams. Makes no sense. What's the message?

Dude I’m like ready to chew a damn nail in half. This is dumb AF. Want to send a message suspend his ass for UTSA. You’re seriously so Fing oblivious you’re going to suspend players for a conference game with a rival we haven’t beaten in twenty years at their place? The offensive line is a dumpster fire right now and you’re not playing your best players on offense bc of stuff like this.

I know Heupel is wanting to clean up the culture but damn this was a DA move.

Cops can pull you over for any reason at any time. The bums in Knoxville always pull me over because my windshield is cracked.
Apologies for this, but it reminded me of a workmate that I had a few years ago. His windshield was cracked for years. Every time he'd drive to lunch on a rainy day, (and this got old, but it didn't stop him), before he'd turn the wipers on, he'd say, "Time to wipe my crack". Ha Ha
