Lane can hold his own at guard, but just not a center.

Lane is real good at Guard but if the wrong Ref is out there he will get a holding call. They discuss pregame and tell who to keep an eye on. A lot get calls when they grab and throw some one down but seems like Ollie gets them on nuanced or borderline holds. That's why I think they label certain players pre-game as BOLOs.

This is a Bama home game. You can bet your 401K the wrong for us ref will be out there. We HAVE to play so well it doesn't matter.

He's a transfer 6 games into the season. Not saying the light can't go on for him, but at this point in the season, I won't be expecting much from him going forward. Might be why he transferred from Oregon. Like it or not, I think we roll with our freshmen. They've already shown me more than Thornton.
