Posted elsewhere that I didn't think Milroe would be their starter again next year. If he's on the roster...and that's a big if IMO, I think DeBoer brings in a guy who can run his offense. Watch Milroe end up at someplace like Arky or SCjr.

If that happens, it will show that Milton was actually the better QB than Milroe, and I’ll laugh at all the folks who were gargling on the Bama QB saying how much better he was than our guy. Milton would be been a heisman finalist if he’d played in crimson last year.

Milton and Milroe both had 2800 yards passing. Milroe wins 23-20 in td passes.
Milton wins 5 to 6 in interceptions.
Milroe was 13th best QBR.
Milton was 34th.

Their passing numbers are pretty similar with Milroe having a decent amount more talent around him. I don’t think it’s ridiculous to think Milton could improve in his numbers with more talent around him.

Doubt Roger’s going to Bama. Alabama just got Austin Mack, transfer from Washington. Wouldn’t be surprised for Bama to lose a QB after spring.

Both were in their 3rd year in their system and both were in their first year of significant live action in that system. Joe has started like 4 games in his career before this year.

Plus, he’d only have to get a little bit better to match Milroe’s passing stats. No need to get much better to do that.
