Mike Leach's system won't work in the SEC.

2nd year goes on the road into one of the most hostile stadiums in college football to defeat a ranked team.

Will Roger's is a damn good QB.

If Leach had slightly better WR, his offense would be lethal.
Leach really is a very good coach who never has very much to work with. His recruiting is his biggest issue. If he would ever take over a loaded team, I don’t know if anyone could beat him. But he’ll never get enough talent at St to do much more than make a little noise here and there.

Leach might be weird but he’s a very good coach who puts his players in position to win.

I understand he might not have been a great fit here at Tennessee but Leach would have been a major improvement over Pruitt at the time.

Permian Basin money can send him on his way in a hurry. Or, perhaps some for cause action?! LOL

Not with the current administration basically shutting them down. Those ole boys in Midland will never have to shop at the thrift store but they’re not making the money that they were when energy was supplied by USA for USA. Arabs are back getting filthy rich these days.

Good for them. as long as they aren’t playing us, I hope MSU does well, just because of the Pirate. You don’t have to worry about getting the generic coach speak. He’s actually an interview that’s fun to watch. Definitely one of a kind.

I would have much rather had him than Pruitt. He’s a better coach than Pruitt all day long. It would have been interesting to see what he could have done here. But as much as I like him, we are probably 7-8 wins a year with a 10 thrown in there occasionally. Plus, he has a great talent for finding a way to lose a game every year that he shouldn’t. It would have been a weird fit here as well, but it’s an even weirder fit in Mississippi.

Wonder if aTm is trying to figure out how to get some of their $10M back from Jimbo. Two Wal-Mart coaches (which happen to be pretty darn good) just whipped his tail the past couple of weeks.

Miss St is quietly putting it together. The loss to Memphis was terrible reffing. 2 losses are a total of 5 points. Dominated a #23 NC State and gets a win against a top 10 team on the road. A couple breaks and they're 5-0.
