Missing that Punch

I too believe that an offensive philosophy update/change/improvement is needed. A lot of people recognize it, but some of it falls on the players. I saw plenty of open shots that didn't fall, missed lay-ups, and bad passes. These girls are very talented, but it's time, at this level, to hit open looks, lay-ups, and make better decisions with the basketball. Holly can't do that part. This time of year is where championships are won. Get in the gym.

I do believe we have a group that wants to get better.

Now I know why you were/are such a Ariel fan. You don't like defense either! :)

Ariel, with her defensive shortcomings, is still light years ahead of Carter or Reynolds. And For the record, Carter is not anything more than an average defensive player. Any aggressive guard will score over or around her all day, all night.

Tennessee played better team defense than individually...even with Ariel :)

Notre Dame was just as bad. Madison Cable had two airball layups, so that's not just Carter's signature shot.
