Mississippi St vs Kentucky

Both teams appear offsides in the photos.

This came up in an NFL game I watched recently. You have to consider the football as part of a plane that no part of a non-kickers body can cross. It was stated that refs are lenient on kickoffs that are not onsides.

It is a lot like the way it is in basketball where quite often when inbounding the ball a player will be half inbounds and nothing will be called unless the defense is in some sort of press defending the inbound.

Yeah, if that's the case. It was the most PERFECT onside kick ever. Dropped right into a Kentucky player's hands with no Bulldogs within 5 yards of him. As dead as a flop shot out of the sand onto the green.

Best part of the game was seeing MSU's player ejected.
Those punches were way over the line.
By the way, friend's son is a backup QB for Kentucky.

I can't find the football in the picture of MSU's kickoff. It may be there but hard to see because of the blur. But, perhaps the ball was away before the player crossed the line.
