Mississippi State has fired Moorhead

I can't believe that Sarkisian would want that job. I believe if he keeps having success and keeps his nose clean and personal life in order while at Bama he will have a chance for a more attractive job back on the west coast again.

Or, if he does well at MSU (7/8 wins), he can get back to the west coast as well.

True enough, but 8 wins in the SEC West at Miss State is a damn tough gig, especially with most of the East division getting stronger now too. With LSU, Bama, Auburn, Kiffin at your biggest rival Ole Miss and your two East division games on the schedule each season you're looking at trying to survive and go .500. Throw in a good out of conference opponent and the odds aren't too good of getting to 7 or 8 wins. Plus it's Starkville which makes even Tuscaloosa look good.

So is Moorhead a good coach? Rumor is he's on the short list as Oregon's new OC. I'm concerned given the number of players he had who got into academic fraud problems.
