I saw the clip you were referencing during his presser. You cannot seriously believe there is any real interest from MSU to hire a coach that is 4-6 in Year 3 and has a worse record at South Carolina at this point than Will Muschamp did in Year 3? Come on man….

He was asked a question at his weekly press conference about the MSU job and he basically just said the same thing you did about understanding his connections. But I found it to be a ridiculous question because there is an exactly 0% chance MSU would want to hire this guy unless they miss on the first 20 guys on their list.
