Terribly sad what happened here.

I hate to see a young person lost no matter what the circumstances.

Even worse is since the Victim was white, no one will care. People only care if blacks get murdered it seems. The murderers will likely get a slap on the wrist. The Judicial System has historically been far too lenient when minorities commit crimes against whites.

The Starkville paper has written an article drawing comparisons to the Zimmerman Self-Defense justified homicide case.

Our View: Trayvon Martin and John Sanderson - The Dispatch

I think whenever a crime is committed, for the safety of the rest of the citizens, each minority in the area should be locked up until they can be proven to be innocent.

Uh...I think you might have that backwards...

Aren't all murder charges felonies?

If you kill someone while in the act of a felony, it gets upgraded to 1st degree murder.

That is the felony murder statute. So lets say that the poor victim was killed by manslaughter, if the boys who did this were in the act of a felony, they will get strung up from the tallest tree.

It's harsh, but a hell of a deterrent!

Difference in first or second degree murder is that 1st degree involves premeditation.

Killing someone while also committing a felony, ie: robbery, or rape, is where capital murder comes into play
