Watching Missouri play Georgia with a first year coach it’s hard to believe how well they are playing. The enthusiasm on both offense, defense and the bench shows how far off we are from being a contender. Missouri is playing above their level against Georgia. Arkansas so far is playing Bama tough. My beloved Vols look like we belong in the Sun Belt conference. We are loaded with talent but can’t put together a team that can compete. Sad to say but we aren’t coached up at all. Why do we have the drama year after year? Sick of this mess. Eleven years and we haven’t progressed and it doesn’t look like we ever will.

Better look again at AL ARK game 31-3 in 2nd quarter. And TN beat Missouri. Hard to compare teams against other teams.

Yea why couldn’t we play UGA tough at UGA and be up by 10 points on them? We lost that game due to the decision to play JG. That’s the literal difference

agree - but Pruitt is the reason Bailey didn't start. He's the reason Bailey didn't get every snap in the last game... and that will matter this week and against A&M - should that game get played.

Maybe he's lightyears smarter than the rest of us, because I just don't understand. hahahahaaa

Any sane person would have not played Bailey earlier than the Arkansas game at the earliest.

Bailey playing his freshman year is the biggest casualty of Covid impacting spring and fall schedules. Regardless, we do have other QB's on the roster that played meaningful time last year. That is where the problem with Pruitt's handling the QB situation happens.

I don't blame Pruitt for his handling of Bailey's playing time specifically. Bailey could easily be wrecked just as Bailey could be Tyler Bray's Freshman Year 2.0

Tired of making 2nd tier coaches multi millionaires with same losing results. Dooley,Jones and Pruitt type coaches cannot keep playing out at Tennessee. This has got to stop.

We were close with Georgia till after halftime. Idk if I would use either Arkansas or Missouri as a measuring stick for success yet but still you can tell we’re headed in the wrong direction with this coach.
