Missouri at South Carolina

So Missouri did to South Carolina what South Carolina did to Missouri last year, I guess.

Except neither of these teams will be looking at any national or SEC championship implications at the end of the year.

Mizzou wins. The east is officially a cluster.

I'm not saying we win the East but the way everyone has played to this point we have as good of a chance as anyone. UGA clearly has the upper hand at this point holding the tiebreaker over us and being a game ahead of USC but it's potentially a 6 team race. Before it's all said and done UK will play spoiler and have a major hand in jumbling the East even more I believe.

South Carolina's ranking should drop like a rock. They are 1-2 in sec play and that one being against the worst teAm in the conference by a mile.

Anybody able to make out what the crowd was chanting as time expired? I'm sure it was entertaining.

maybe Kentucky can beat UGA :loco:

UK always plays UGA tough, fwiw. Actually beat them between the hedges a few years back. Couldn't have surprised me more if I'd woken up with my head sewn to the carpet.

2009?

Yeah that was a weird game. UGA turned the ball over like 4 times in the second half and UK scored 21 unanswered points in like the last 20 [clock] minutes of the game.

Guess that leaves Arkansas?

Thats a possibility.

How does it work if the following scenario played out?

UGA/UT have same east record with UGA holding the tiebreaker, but UT has the better overall conference record.

Does UT get in the SECCG, even though UGA holds the tiebreaker in the east?

I legitimately don't know.

I'm pretty sure the overall conference record is all that matters.

Whoever has the least conference losses is automatically in. If we're 6-2 and UGA is 5-3 we're in, assuming that's what you're asking.

Conference record always trumps division record.

If it were just based on division record, the East and West might as well be completely different conferences since the games between the two really wouldn't matter in the scheme of things.

(Although Spurrier would be in favor of such a set up).
