I think the M is more appropriate for this team as they enter the SEC. When they are flat on their back it says they are a W, which they will be.

Let them get new uniforms, aint going to match up to the orange and white flashing past them on the way to the checker boards.

Completely agree. This is the SEC where the football sells itself. If they need flashy uniforms to draw attention to themselves in this league they are already in a lot of trouble.

Those uniforms look dreadful. The SEC should mandate a "no Oregon style uniform" rule to keep that crap out of our conference.

Yep you gotta admit that - UT is losing alot of dollars in the merchadising dept sticking with dreary Adidas - I cant even get an authentic jersey for games anymore with that Tech fit garbage (same with Basketball everything is that cheap screen print crap) Alt uniforms would be good for a rival game like Vandy IMO, If it really does help recruiting like so many have said.

The SEC should work on overhauling its officiating crews before it goes around making silly rules about what teams wear. Just because most of the conference has worn the same thing for 80 years doesn't mean the new guys have to follow.

I 100% agree with this. The officiating has been dreadful for a while. Also, uniforms have never won or lost a game. Uniforms are about brand and money.

Double BOOM! It's not the uni's, but the player inside them. They will have a hard time competing in the east. Or the west. Or the south or the north. Having said that I hate Adidas. The pants of the mid 2000's were awful. One large stripe down the side. Horrible. It's just sad when you let an outside agency, no matter how much they throw into the pot, dictate what your uniforms look like.

While I like their new uniforms, I completely agree with your post. Their is no place in the SEC for arena league foosball uniforms. This conference screams tradition, not a hey!!! Look at me type approach to how you look.

I agree with everything you've said, but honestly this may be their "new" SEC tradition uniforn. They don't have any tradition in the SEC. I didn't think the helmet looked too arena league, but maybe it could've been toned down a bit.

Just making a point,I'm not being argumentative.

Only problem I have with the helmet is the lone tiger logo - theres 2 other SEC schools named Tigers - should have went for something like Memphis has (an M plus the tiger)
