Lame as hell to proclaim to be a Tennessee fan bur only support the team if they are on top. That makes you a fan of the team that is winning, but not neccesarily UT. Which translates to being a bandwaggoner. Be clear on that. Proud of all the fans who support our school.

Gonna be there with my son, for sure! Hope the stadium is packed cause it will be a beautiful day. Nothing like a huge stadium that glows orange! Recruits are impressed by the huge crowd. You may say that you won't attend to send a message and that is fine, but are you hurting the coach or the future of the program when the recruits come in and see a lackluster crowd and even some "booing" for our team? Sometimes a recruit may choose a school not for a particular coach ( which may come and go) but for the atmosphere and overall feel of the school. We want them to see fans that are bursting with Big Orange Pride. Besides WHEN we get back to our winning ways, the victories will be that much sweeter because we have endured some tough times. Sometimes you may be called upon to support a team in some losing seasons as well as winning seasons -- after all, Vol fans are most certainly not band-wagoners. That is reserved for Bammers!:) So..come and support our Vols! Go Big Orange!

Hope everyone enjoyed the train wreck. I put a nice 8 pointer in the freezer.

It was a beautiful day in Tennessee; Dooley is on his way out the door and I got meat in the freezer not to mention saving a couple of hundred bucks on gas and food.

Man, those Mizzou fans. They were too loud for my taste. And this couple of Mizzou fans in front of me... I could not get them to sit down.

One bought us a round of drinks after the game, though. So I'll remain indifferent until we meet again.

For Stumps and his famly, this was the first game we've seen live where we lost - we've been on a streak for about a decade. oh well. A few thoughts on seeing this game live:

- been said a lot, but I have never witnessed a coach give up on his team the way that Dooley did today. It was heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time. If I played for Dooley, I'd have no confidence in my abilities.

- Mizzou fans - stupid chant, but your team won so you do get to hang around. As much as I hated seeing the Tigers act like they took the game, the fact is that that TN gave them the win. You were polite for the most part

- TN fans continue to be very hospitalable. I heard a lot of our fans greeting Mizzou fans with things like "welcome to the league" , very nice.

- lastly - I look foward to the day when the big orange can defend it's home. sad game.

Sorry you dont like our chant, I happen to like it. About you gave the game? Ok, I can see that, from your point of view, I happen to think we gave Florida their game, so ok. Still scratching my head as to the sending it to overtime thing. I came away with a much better opinion of Vols wearing Gold then I did wearing Red. but I will give it time. Whether you gave us it or we won it its still a W. Yall owned us 90 percent of the game, but oh well. It was a great experience. Look forward to yall coming to Columbia next year (I think?)

We argue back and forth over this in Columbia every game. Some b*tch about people standing, others b*tch about people b*tching at them. Someone at the Bama game actually got arrested because the police told them to sit and they wouldnt.

my only request is that Mizzou PLEASE use some of that SEC contract TV money and build a new stadium. it looks like a high school stadium on TV...

other than that, glad to have you in the big league.
