Saturday's game against Missouri may arguably be the most important basketball game at UT in the past 2 years. With the soft bubble this year, many analysts are saying TN will make the NCAAT if they can beat MO, regardless if they win ANY games in the SECT.

Tough task, considering MO is playing arguably the best basketball of their season. Here are some of their statistics.

Last three games:

83 Free throw attempts to opponents 43

MO shot 70% for the game at SC in a 90-68 win. (In comparison UT shot 44% at SC in a 66-61 win).

MO shot 58% for the game vs LSU in a 89-76 win.
(In comparison UT shot 57% vs LSU in a 82-72 win).

MO shot 58% for the game vs Arky in a 93-63 win.
(In comparison UT shot 43% AT arky in a 72-60 loss).

In other words, MO is shooting lights out and appear to have peaked at the right time.

MO ranks 17th in the country in PPG - UT ranks 203rd
MO ranks 2nd in the country in RPG - UT ranks 85th
MO ranks 57th in the country in FG% - UT ranks 157th

What do you guys think are the keys to our success against them? GO VOLS!

I'll be betting on it. I made a pretty good chunk on on the Florida Game with UT at 3.5 to one! XD

It's definitely not the highest probability route, but with each bubble team loss that probability increases

3 more bubble teams lost tonight. Even with no SECt wins (assuming a MO win) our résumé is far better than most remaining bubble teams.

If UT wins there next two games, I believe they will be in regardless of the SECT.

Mizzou has been sporadic on the road this year. At UT will be a test.

There will be some unexpected tourney winners in their respective leagues pushing the bubble teams out. Why take a chance?

Unfortunately, I think that MO is starting to peak. They are playing pretty good basketball right now.

Does anyone else think we kind of mirror Missouri? I have seen them a few times, they look a lot like us.

Pressy-Golden (I would definitely give Pressey the edge here)
Bowers-McCrae (McCrae gets the edge here)
Oriakhi-Stokes (Slight edge to Stokes, since he dominated him in the Uconn game)
Brown-Richardson (Even, Brown offensive-Richardson Defensive)

The stats show Missouri to be a better team, but when I watch them play, they just remind me a lot of Tennessee and how they play.
