Im from St. Louis and therefore have plenty of friends who are Mizzou fans. They are very confident in there ability to win in the SEC. I think they'll win some games but not more than 8.

Anyway, my friend sent this article (rant) to me today. Has to be the most self depricating trash talk I've ever read.

Maybe he means that one year they ALMOST made it to the national championship game in 2007 but lost to OU in the Big 12 Championship game? (Not much considering every team and their mother were ranked number 2 that season.)

Define relevant. By decade, you're implying that a National Championship is relevance. Therefor Mizzou has never been, and never will be relevant. Be prepared to become equals with Miss St. and Vandy. That is as high as your program can hope to reach in our conference.

I've been saying since the season was announced that Mizzou was the biggest question mark on our schedule. We pretty much know what to expect from every team we play, except Mizzou.

Are they going to come in an win the east? Doubtful.

I think they will be very competitive and win some games most of think they wont.

Mizzou has had some really good teams the past 10 years. Gary Pinkel is a great coach and always gets the most out of his players.

We have had our best players injured or kicked off the team. We have lost to a team that we haven't lost to in almost 3 decades. So let me tell you mizzou fans something. Dont come into our conference acting like you have had it rough the past couple of years because compared to us you haven't. SO YOU BRING IT!
