No we don't. Granted we lose to Alabama. Then possibly USC, MO.

Win Auburn Vandy Ky games

6-6 record. Bowl bound

Math is fine.....I don't know what your problem is.

Mizzou's QB is gone for pretty much the season.

You watch next week; they're a different team now

If CBJ & the team looked ahead as far as some on VN, then we are doomed. Focus on 1 game at a time (the next one). Lot of football to be played.

I may be the only one that feels this way but I just feel stylistically we match up better against Alabama opposed to SC. Shaw will be hard for our D to contain.

You ask like they gambled or something having him out there. Unless I'm missing something; was he already hurt?

No he wasn't. I didn't mean to ask it like a gamble.

I meant was beating a highly ranked UGA team like this worth enough as losing their starting QB and possibly 2-3 more wins later in the season?

Like was the win big enough to balance? (like had he not gotten hurt but they lost, they could have ended the year beating UK, UT (let's be honest), Ole Miss as likely wins; and one to maybe even 2 out of UF, USCe, A&M.....From what I saw of Mauk today I think that removes any chance verses the latter 3 and maybe Ole Miss as well)

I would think they'd say yes, considering they hadn't beaten a Top 10 team in over 30 years, and there are no guarantees with the rest of the season even with Franklin.

Is a match up nightmare for us! A spread O + a mobile qb = long night in Missouri for us. Darn it, I really thought we could close out the season strong! BAMA, Missouri, and Auby are all going to be hard to win.

Well Mizzou and AUB have banged up QBs and I don't think Shaw is totally healed (he is just tough). USCe has a great backup in Thompson anyways.

The key for us was the last half we played. Offense in long sustaining drives giving our D a blow and wearing out the opponents D.

Mizzou also lost a CB today.

USCe looked bad arse. I hope they have a long flight delayed trip home.

No, they hadn't; they beaten a #1 Oklahoma team in Columbia in 2010 and a #2 KU team in 2007.

This was that they hadn't beaten a top 10 team as the away team since 1981.

And there are no guarantees, yes. But our game (let's be honest, this helps UT out immensely) and the Ole Miss game became much less likely based on the backup's play today; and any chance at UF, USCe, or even A&M (who seems to have defensive problems like UGA) gets lost.

Yeah E.J. Gaines, their best CB, got hurt but I haven't heard what it is yet or if it was longer than a game
