Still isn’t a bad loss. We beat Auburn which will help us more as they win more. Losses happen in basketball. We could just as easily be 22-3 or 23-2 if we pull out those close losses. That’s the difference between being the #1 team in the country vs being a 3 seed right now. We still have an opportunity to handle business with a good schedule in front of us. They just have to go take it.

It’s a bad loss when you have Aub -6.5 & over 151. All I needed was Missouri to not stink. They were beyond stink.

Missouri was a Quad 2 loss for us. Sorry, but that’s not a bad loss. Yeah it sucks to lose in that fashion but at the end of the day it’s not a bad loss. Tennessee doesn’t have any Quad 3/4 losses which are considered bad losses.

I guess Alabama sucks too since they lost to a 12-13 Oklahoma team by 24 points? All of Alabama’s losses are by double digits. They must not be a very good team.

Missouri getting killed now. Definitely doesn’t make us look any better after losing to them. 45-18 start of 2nd half. Was hoping they would win several more to make the loss look better
No , that just tells me Missouri playing like they did in Knoxville was absolute fluke. Won’t hit that kind of percentage again.

they had plenty of open 3s that weren’t close. They just weren’t mentally there tonight. Maybe ole Bruce got in their head with the “most important game” talk

Bruce is a Midwest yankee. He can preach disenfranchisement.

Missouri vs Vols on 3s,14 of 26 that's 42 points from 3= live by the 3

Missouri vs Auburn on 3s, 5 of 22 that's 15 points from 3= Die by the 3

BTW Auburn was 9 of 18= 50%; 27 points from 3, if their falling its great if not its hard.

It’s the nature of todays game. You gotta have good consistent 3 point shooters. Hopefully we can recruit more in the coming years. Hopefully there are some good ones in this class we have coming in. I love the potential lineup next year. Zeigler-Dillione-J.Phillips-Estrella-Aidoo/Awaka that is assuming all our seniors move on next year. Then you got the wildcards; Mashack, Jefferson, Edwards, Carr, Cade Phillips. That’s 11 and I assume we will have 1-2 guys use a Covid year after up and down years this year, or we add a transfer or 2.

There's talent, but a lot of unknowns heading into next year. One would think Barnes would have to bring in an experienced PG wouldn't he?
