Mizz Game Prediction

Pith on a bubble shot. Win big or go home. CCM so far has failed to impress upon his team that all or nothing mentality. Hoping we beat the dog snot out of Mizzou and win big in the SEC tourney to solidify our spot in the dance, but IMO, that's as far as CCM can take us. I really hate to be a negavol but Bruces ceiling, again IMO, is much higher than Coach Martins. Go Vols and BBB.

Actually, we don't know what the ceiling is for CCM yet. Still a chance that we can get into the tourney and make a good run.

I predict that if Mizzou's entire front line has 4 fouls 5 minutes into the 2nd half that UT feeds Stokes the last 15 minutes this time. Surely CCM and staff wouldn't make the same mistakes to the same team after all the flack they got in the media?

Cuonzo has shown that he can fight and that he can motivate a team whose backs are against the wall.

Fighting and motivation haven't been the problems IMO. X and O's have been. Even the most casual follower has seen when UT is at its best.

Push the ball up the court and feed the post quickly before the D has a chance to really pack it in. If there's no shot inside then kick it back out for an open jumper. When the other team's bigs get into foul trouble, feed the big dog every time.

Switch the D around between M2M and a 1-3-1 depending on the opponent and the flow of the game.

At Columbia we were 4-21 from 3. McRae was 3-11. If we do that again we will be toast. But if the threes are falling then the Vols win.

Limit turnovers and get contributions from the bench along with winning the rebounding battle and UT should win a close game.

BTW, will Edwards get a start tomorrow because of Senior Day?

Perimeter shots will determine our fate like it always does. If the guys are hitting the threes Missouri is toast. I think at home we know how to shoot those shots. I say Tennessee 74 Missouri 65.

I hope Cuonzo has learned something this year about motivating his players . When his teams are motivated they play fantastic basketball , when they aren't they suck . I don't know if he is conveying too much confidence and the players pick up on it or what but that is his challenge for next season . Yes , I do believe he will be here next season . Oh yeah almost forgot , we will win by 10

What do you think will be the outcome of Saturday's game?
Note: NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO HAPPEN, but what you think will happen.

After seeing the replies, we seem to agree for the most part. With this team, we just can't tell which team will show up for the game. And that is the point of the post. CM is not able to get consistent play for his guys. And when they are off, he can't fix the problem.

They are completely frontrunners. If they get off to a good start, they are tough. If they ever get behind, they stay behind- their body language changes and the 50-50 balls get away.
