Mizzou at UF

No question it was a late hit but Mullen’s behavior was embarrassing. Especially coming back out and egging the crowd on like a pro wrestler. I had flashbacks of Hulk Hogan cupping his hands to his ears listening to the crowd. The SEC should fine him and probably suspend him for a game. Can’t have a head coach acting a fool like that.

Fine perhaps, suspension no.

I dont get the alt channel so missed it all - DId the Missouri player get ejected for that hit on Trask right before the half ?
Just saw the replay this morning. SEC Network guys said the office would likely review, but in my opinion the hit on Trask was flagrant, & both teams throwing haymakers. Mullen was chasing, berating the officials. As I said, he should be punished too, but I doubt it.

Florida is at its best when rivals hate their coach. They hated Spurrier, Meyer and trending towards hating Mullen.

Conversely, they all thought Zook and Muschamp were swell guys. They thought McElwain was a harmless goofball.

Bring on the Mullen hate.

I’d also argue if a UT coach reacted to its QB taking a cheap shot like that, many of you would applaud his passion.

All that said, I wish Mullen had simply taken a knee before all that foolishness took place.

Disagree. Pruitt is in a short leash around here. I can totally see the majority calling out his antics. We are two weeks out from getting blown out by KY at home. Patience is pretty thin.

This UT team? Sure, I agree with you.

However, if UT was in UF’s situation, in contention for the East and perhaps more, and Pruitt showed that same level of emotion in supporting one of the league’s best QBs, a week before the biggest game on the schedule, I would expect the majority of your fan base to support Pruitt.

If we beat UGA and win the East, then we are in contention for more than the East.

I’ll type slower next time so your reading comprehension skills aren’t laid bare for all to see. 😂

This; depends on UT's situation.

Since Pruitt is currently losing the fanbase then yeah people wouldn't defend him. But hell pre-Georgia game this year most probably would have defended him if this happened to us against Mizzou before the Georgia game.

If the stakes were the same, I would expect any coach to defend their players.

Mullen went overboard though in my opinion.

Completely agree. Tommy Townsend had a nice rocket pass today on a fake punt call for my Chiefs.

Tommy Townsend fake punt

Holding Missouri to 17 is not an accomplishment to be proud of. UT held them to 12 and we know how they have been stinking it up this year.

I agree holding us to 17 isn't special.... we had 3 starting OL out and our Starting TE.....No matter the few players UF was missing the Drop off from our starters compared to the Drop off for UF is a Grand Canyon gulf. We started a True Freshman Spencer OG a true developmental player who will be OK but tonight he got overwhelmed mentally, physically and I suspect spiritually as UF DL abused him. Hence our Run game and Passing game was beyond inept.

A team like Mizzou cannot over come a lot of injuries as our Depth is slim and thin....

No, Muschamp was and continues to be an immature hothead. That's why people don't like him. And McElwain is a goofball. Can't argue with that.
