The entire University of Missouri is a train wreck right now.

I think the football program is going to reflect this unsettled atmosphere on the field. Not to mention a new head coach, loss of some key players, etc. More likely than not, will not get to the post-season.

Lol. You can't be serious...

I think Vandy, USCe and Mizzou will fight to see who's at the bottom.

Kentucky should (but being Kentucky and their second half of the season meltdowns, who knows) make a bowl game this year. They have three cupcakes on the schedule and Miss State and Vandy at home. Leaving Mizzou (could win), Louisville (doubtful win) and UF (doubtful win) on the road. And UGA at home...which is another doubtful win.

But if they could pull out an upset over UF or UGA, they go bowling.

I feel like I heard recently about two of Missouri's D linemen getting suspended or expelled. Am I making this up?

They're now gone. One for academics and the other for "team rules".

Brady and Brantley. I believe Brantley was injured last year after being 3rd on the team in sacks two years ago from the DT position. Brady was a Fr All American last year.

Both are huge losses.

MU notes: Offensive lineman Nate Crawford retires after second back surgery | The Kansas City Star

They actually have the opposite of a veteran OL. They are returning 0 starters. The only guy that was returning retired from football. They have had 5 scholarship linemen quit since the spring and were down to 7 OL, back up to 11 with the FR that have come in. They are going to be absolutely terrible.

It's likely to be similar to last year: their defense will be really, really good, but their offense (especially along the line) is going to be such sh-t that it won't matter.

Agreed, making Marshall references is akin to saying God can't even sink the titanic before the maiden voyage.

Actually I was referencing Coach John McKay who said "Three or Four plane crashes and we might make the playoffs" after the Buccaneers won their first game which snapped a 26 game losing streak.

:lolabove: an NFL coach actually said that?? Damn that is morbid. But hilarious at the same time.
