Mizzu is hot garbage.

Neither does Ole Miss, Miss St, or Vandy. Check the schedules.

That requirement doesn't begin until 2016.

Oddly enough, though, they do play BYU (currently #19) though in November, who's one of the independents that's an exemption/addendum to the "schedule 1 power 5 conference team" mandate.

I bet Freeze is trying to get a deal with a PAC 12 bottom feeder just to ring up 70 points on them. Thanks for the info BTW

They're playing Cal in 2017 and 2019, so... sort of.

They do open next year against FSU, though.

No, better.

When the rule came out about having to schedule a power 5 opponent, the pretty much first thing Ole Miss did on their own as far as scheduling: ...they scheduled a home and home with Wake Forest. Almost immediately.

(They were already scheduled to play Georgia Tech in 2022 before the rule change.)

The FSU game is a neutral site game organized by a third party paying those schools though. I don't think Ole Miss were the ones going out of their way to try to get a game scheduled with FSU in this one.

I was watching last year when they were "hot garbage" vs both Indiana and Georgia....and then they came into Neyland and beat the ever living horse ish out of Tennessee. I won't be making the mistake, AGAIN, of counting on this coaching staff to find a way to beat Mizzou.....it ain't likely.

Pinkel>>>>>>Jones. Should we beat Mizzou? Absolutely. Will we? At the beginning of the season, I said absolutely. Now? I have serious doubts.

Based on what we've seen to date, not sure how anyone could argue otherwise....though plenty surely will.

Now if we are talking recruiting, then I am wrong. However if someone thinks Jones is better then I would love to see a logical argument laid out that proves it.

Jones isn't in Pinkel's stratosphere as a coach. As a recruiter, it's likely the opposite. That being said, look who wins the head to head match ups.

Smart money now seems to be Bama/LSU and UGA in the SECCG. We'll see how Bama does tonight.

Everyone else in the east just sucks.
