How do you debate political issues without “should?”

The debate isn't about should they be able to vote, the debate was about checking eligibility to vote and right now most felons are not eligible to vote. Stop moving the goalposts.

My premise that all humans are born with basic rights and freedoms and governments only restrict and take them away is not flawed.

Governments are what individual humans when attempting to live as a society have formed since the dawn of man. They are formed more in an attempt to grant and protect rights than to restrict and take them away.

I wouldn't be a popular mayor in LA because I'd fire every damn teacher in the county just like Reagan did with the air traffic controllers. No workie no pay.
