MNF: Broncos @ Chargers

Peyton has made plenty of marks in the NFL, but now he made his mark in Broncos history. This will go down in the memory bank with "The Drive", Holy Stokley, and Tebow to Thomas. Glad I got to witness it!!!

But with all the Manning praise, you have to give HUUUUGE props to the Denver defense. They showed up to play tonight with pressure on Rivers and 4 ints!!! As great as Manning is, he couldn't have done it without the help of the Orange Crush!!

Defense played great in the 2nd half, 4 ints and 2 fumbles

Defense was awesome. Along with the INT's, they fought through the offensive holding and face mask clinging the Chargers O line was dealing out.

That was an amazing comeback. I actually give the defense a little more credit than Manning. If not for two defensive scores it may not have happened.

How about Manning chewing out the Line Judge after the bad offensive PI call.

Manning and the D were amazing. Manning now owns the 2 greatest comebacks in MNF history...both on the road.

John Fox's first half play calling needs to be questioned more. It's super conservative to the point of not effective at all. His conservativeness is also downright predictable. Good defensive guy, great player's coach, but his offensive mindset is stupid at least until you're down 20 points.

Great W for the Broncos. I hate Rivers so that was nice and it's good to see Peyton doing what Peyton does.

I don't get the Total QB Rating....it's supposed to control for circumstances. Manning had a really low score for the first half (16 or something), but he actually played well. Their 1st half drives ended like this:

failed to convert a 3rd and 1 run
a no-call interference stopped 'em on 3rd and 10
Offensive Holding put them at 3rd and 17
Decker's trip + Willis' wrong route = pick 6
Manning goes 3 and out (2 pass attempts)

So he only had 1 bad possession in the first half. I don't understand how they score it.

Fox seems to like handcuffing his QB's the last two seasons. When you have two guys who have special talents, why not let them show it for 60 mins instead of letting them do what they do best when it's a last resort? I don't understand it.

LOVE this pic!!!
