you liviing here, i can't compare, but even in Charlotte, there's a ton of cowboy fans.

and the funniest thing i've heard aabout them is that the local sports show host, mark packer, has said on multiple occaisions that the dumbest fan base that he deals with on a regular basis as the host of a sports call in show are cowboy fans.

that and each day when the show starts, there's a countdown ticker that tells all how many days it's been since the cowboys won a play off game.....it's up to like 4200 or soemthing......it's pretty funny.

i think he was here in Knoxville for a while.

Did you guys see the video of him in high school and diving for the endzone and missing it? (He had no defenders around him). LOL

Yeah, I saw that.

As much as I have proclaimed my hatred for Emmit Smith (Gator/Cowboy), I liked him calling Jackson out for showboating after the game.

I agree. You're a rookie, son... just tear it up like you have been. Now you're known for that play and showboating rather than a hot start to your NFL career.

Eagles Notes: Andrews to have more tests today | Philadelphia Inquirer | 09/17/2008

DeSean Jackson blamed his youth after he dropped the ball at the 1-yard line on what should have been his first career touchdown midway through the second quarter.
"I thought I was in the end zone," he said. "You know, sometimes things happen like that, and I'm still young. I still have to learn. It definitely won't happen again, though."

Jackson was guilty of a similar offense in a high school all-star game when he leaped for the end zone and came up short.

"In high school, I dove into the end zone," Jackson said. "That was a totally different thing."

This guy's too immature to man up for what he did. Blames youth and says throwing the ball behind yourself before you cross the plane of the goalline "just happens." He'll eventually learn, he says, what many grasshopper league kids already know, that you have to wait until you score before dropping the ball. And what he did in HS was "totally different."
