My point is letting those who know sign early. Having two signing periods within two months is ludicrous.

Tyre West (damn near last minute), James Pearce, Daevin Hobbs, Chandavian Bradley, and Caleb Herring not good enough? I want Nwaneri as much as anyone, but so does every other school in the country. If he can land Franklin and maybe Okoye or an interior DL in this class he’ll have done his job in this cycle. Nwaneri would be the cherry on top

I dont think ESPN has anything to do with it. Like so many NCdumbleA initiatives, decisions were made a decade ago. They didnt get a harumph outta one guy, so they placated and decided on December. Since then, NIL, Transfer portal, and NCdumbullA hemming and hawing on all things have forced coaches to now recruit round-the-clock.

Its a powder keg.

I agree. Vibes are if he commits before the season, he will be a Vol. I think we slightly lead but it’s like 51% to 49% type thing. If it goes to September, who knows honestly. Another school or schools could come on strong by then and it’ll be a crapshoot.

They are confident, but nothing definite. They were also confident in Wingo, but not so much anymore. I'm a UT fan, but have some Georgia friends that are usually spot on.
