When people calculated a great class it already included all these guys. We'd have to land basically every one of them to reach top 3. It is still crazy.

Doesn't mean it's impossible though either...but it would be a miracle.

I agree 5-10. Tough would be an understatement. We're talking a 94-95 AVERAGE. The rest of our class would need to average 96 lolol that is ridiculous...but I'll allow it!! Would probably be our greatest class ever. Top classes these days are just such a mile above the rest, there's so much less parity these days.

Iirc we could be borderline #5 if we land em all.

I guess another factor now all of a sudden is how many we can take and OTHERS can take. That's one thing no one really knows about yet. I promise Saban won't hesitate to try and take 35+. I hate this unlimited crap. It is bad.

if we could land webb and cobb, and the trio of Osborne, Faulk, and Parker, with Mauigoa and bradley, it has us at 285, which would be 6 last year, add burley we got to 293 at 5th, added walker and added leblanc for giggles, it puts us at 301 with 24 commits and 4th ahead of osu

Heupel could 8-4 with a team ranked in the 20s. The key to us turning the corner and getting back to 90s level is the defensive improvement. Guess what I’m saying is I would rather have an 8-10 class filled with defensive stars than a 3-4 class with offensive stars.

We just need to be in that 5-7 range for '23 and '24 to get us back in the playoff conversation. The key is that we are in it for major prospects in the trenches and we have landed a big time QB.
