‘23 MO EDGE Chandavian Bradley (Tennessee Commit)

It blows my mind that there’s this assumption that Rattler is going to go into USCe and overcome his huge ego problem all while performing better with a worse supporting cast/staff against better defenses week in and out.

Look Rattler is very talented. His arm talent is undeniable. It blows my mind that there is this assumption that a QB cannot change. That he can’t go to another program that might have a better culture and succeed. I think you are in for a surprise with Rattler. SC is going to be an improved team this year. I don’t see us strolling into Willie B and beating them by 4 TDs again.

It baffles me why some think that Rattler isn’t going to make SC much better.

I do agree with a lot of things you say but Idk that a struggling QB survives with a cast like USCjr. I could be wrong, and have been many times before. Hope I am not.

Is Rattler gonna come in and set the SEC on fire? No. Is he gonna make them a much more dangerous team? Yes. SC has some athletes on their team. And since QB is one of if not the most important position, they have upgraded significantly over last year. I just don’t get why some think QBs cannot ever improve when we have seen many, many examples of that happening.

Yet he couldn’t do crap with all the talent in the world around him at Oklahoma. Not scared of him one bit.

I am not scared of him either. But SC is gonna be a tougher matchup for us than last year. And that will be due in large part to Rattler.

I think we will be better on defense. I could see the offense slipping a little bit.
I don’t, I think it gets a ton more consistent. Heup and team pulled a small miracle in a few months last year putting that team together while everyone on here was gloom and doom and some National writers said we were a 4 win team. Now these guys will have a few year under their belts. I think we’re gonna shock some fools.

I will be honest. I didn’t expect to be as good as we were last year. Definitely didn’t see the offense being anywhere near that good. I expected improvement but going from like 100th in scoring to what like 10th? That’s nothing short of amazing. I agree with the offense being more consistent. I just think we slip from 39 ppg down to like 35ppg. Which would still be great.

He makes poor decisions, and therefore is a turnover machine. That’s why. Year 1 in a new offense with new teammates and playing more talented defenses will likely only make that worse.

Because he had way better talent around him to help, played against worse defenses, and still got benched

Exactly. Nevermind the fact that he played in a system at OU that had churned out multiple Heisman winners/finalists and will now play in an offensive system that put up 20 against ECU, 10 against UK, 23 against Troy, 21 against Vandy, and 28 against the stingy Mizzou defense...and I'm sure some of those points actually came from the defense and special teams. Rattler has physical talent, but he's now at a much worse program, with a significantly less talented surrounding cast, coached by unproven coaches in a much worse offensive system, and against much better defenses. He's certainly an upgrade over their QBs last season, but I don't think he's capable of carrying that entire offense like they would need in order to be a real threat.

Speaking of Mizzou, they beat South Carolina last season and Vandy almost beat them. Heupel having to share that award with Beamer is a joke.

The only reason Beamer got a share of that award is because they beat UF. Heupel deserved it outright.
