Only difference is Boutte only has to make it 6-7 more months and he’s getting drafted. Burden should get out now if he really is that unhappy there. Mizzou is a joke and that’s not changing anytime soon.

Good point ..

I am sure our offense could handle adding this burden and keep on rolling.

Luther is from Illinois no? Right across the state line.
Yeah. But it really is the same culture as most of St. Louis.

It seema more talent is being developed in that area now. It was always there.

Got Wingo and another 5 star coming in 2024 from that area. Seems they have that many 5 stars come out from there every year.

It's borderline Midwest, and Deep South. Not suprising there's talent there

This. The prevailing thought here is that he's not going anywhere. Guys like this are 3 and done, so it's not about preserving eligibility. Regarding his IG story, everything was scrubbed, not just his Mizzou references. There is wide speculation that he could be injured, though the team is not saying anything. Also, he's not exactly getting any separation on the routes he's running, making it difficult for any QB to get the ball to him, especially one who is as bad as Cook.

The problem is, Mizzou is not utilizing him at all. He has 10 receptions for 78 yards through 4 games. We have 8 receivers within 10 yards of that or who have far more. Scouts still need to see you in action. Did he even get targeted once in the Auburn game? I don't think he did. They have one receiver approaching 400 yards, another receiver with just over 100, and Burden is 3rd overall on the team with just 78. Pathetic.
