Wasn’t his day bc the line played like trash. Constantly wasn’t able to step into throws.Only thing OSU did different was Stroud got out of the pocket and made plays down field to Harrison. Hendon just had a bad game and didn’t make many plays like Stroud did. The plays were there just not his day.
Those Florida teams had terrible QB play. I know when trying to make an argument people like to throw context out the window but anybody who actually remembers that era knows Callaway was a stud WR on a terrible offense. Kinda like how Dobbs and Kamara were studs with a terrible coach and o-line.
Also Callaway had good numbers as a rookie. He failed in the NFL because he couldn't stop smoking weed. Not because he lacked the physical ability.
I don’t even remember this Calloway dude so you’re probably right, but I think “skill” would be a more apt term than talent. Someone can have immense talent but not have a great deal of skill because of inadequate training and preparation, etc.No he wasn’t a stud. The numbers reiterate that. You can make all the excuses you want for him but he is/was a below average WR. If he had the talent, it would have shown. It never has because it’s not there. This is like your Dobbs and Kayaa takes. Just bad.
-VQKelsey Pope spent the week seeing some of the top 2024 wide receivers. Ryan Wingo, Jeremiah McClellan, Ny Carr and Perry Thompson all got a visit from Pope. Wingo is most likely to wait until summer before committing anywhere, but we wouldn't close out a spring decision.

He started only 11 games as a rookie on the Browns and had 586 receiving yards and 5 TDs. Pretty good numbers for a rookie WR with a rookie QB throwing him the ball. And if you actually watched the games he had some great performances like the Saints game that year. He showed glimpses of becoming a player. Unfortunately his demons when it came to drug addiction cost him a potentially promising career.
And don't give up on Dobbs just yet. He might just get his shot at becoming a player after all.
Maybe he heard who will be Replacing Drinkiwitz after the season."There's been a good amount of chatter that Missouri is making up significant ground on top-10 national prospect Ryan Wingo. The efforts, as was posted here earlier this week, are very similar to the Luther Burden recruitment. At one time, we'd have said Missouri had very little chance to keep Wingo in the state. That's definitely changed. We're not ready to make a prediction or anything, but Mizzou is much more of a threat in this one than we thought it was a few weeks ago. " - Mizzou Rivals
