Mock draft

I saw another mock draft this morning that had Wright going in the second round and he was the only Vol in first 2 rounds. The mock draft had Young, Stroud, AR, Levis and 3 other QBs going with no Hooker going in first 2 rounds. It was a complete joke.

Kipper and McShay both have Young, Stroud and Levis as the big three going in the first. Hooker seems to be in the next tier down. Ridiculous.

I'd love to see my Colts take a QB in the first round this year and I would love if that QB was Hendon Hooker. It's about time we get our next franchise QB.

I saw a mock a few days ago that has Hooker going #8 overall. I've no idea why anyone would think he's not a pro prospect. He has great size at 6'4 220, a cannon for an arm, a great football mind and he can run well enough to move the pocket, escape pressure or get a first down with his feet.

I am honestly surprised to see Byron Young this high… To me he has only flashed a few games

Would be a nice spot for him. Good oline, good young WR corps (Jameson and Amon-Ra), and then Swift at RB. That offense would be good.

That is one city I'm waiting to see revived.

This is one man’s opinion, but who could ever have guessed a few games ago Hyatt could have been viewed as a 1st rounder ahead of Tillman in next years draft !!!! Hope Tillman comes back with a phenomenal 2nd half.

The big problem for Hyatt is that teams are mostly not throwing down field anymore, which takes away a lot of his usefulness at the pro level. It's a problem for Hooker, too, since his value is partly from his arm strength opening the field. I like his pocket movement, too. I think he'll get skeptics because he spends so much time in shotgun and the system makes reads so much easier.
