Monday Bowl Practice Highlights

It may be a "meaningless" bowl game but the practice reps Nico and the other EE's are getting are priceless. The program as a whole will be better off because of the extra practice that comes with a bowl game.

Well, yeah. I think the game is meaningful BECAUSE, it provides we fans with an extension of Vols football before the long, sad, off season hits us.

I'm going to enjoy what we got while we got it.
So when I take my seat; I will proudly sit;
Without an ounce, an ounce of shame;

And enjoy, thoroughly enjoy the game.

I agree it is great to get early enrolled guys into practice and start getting them acclimated to being a Vol.
But, honestly it is the same for all our competitors. Years ago when fewer schools went to bowls that was a competitive edge, now everyone goes to some crazy a$$ bowl.

Don't care what it means to other teams. These practices are gold for our staff and team. Gets to EEs a good look at the playbook and most of pace of our offense. We move at a speed that few others can comprehend.

Believe it or not we are still rebuilding so every practice is important. I expect a small step back this year but I expect to complete for championships the year after and to infinity.

hope you are right, but do you really think our early EEs gives us an advantage over the AL & GA early EEs?
I think it means more to us as fans hoping for en edge, but I bet those AL/GA fans think their EEs give them an edge.

You still don't understand. Do you think it is an advantage for them to be sitting in the film room rather than practicing? I meant when I said I could not care less about how Bama's or Georgia's practices go. It is a big deal for our team. ANY practice time is extremely valuable. Worry about our team, don't give those other a second thought. Our staff and play calling is what will ultimately give us an edge. If you don't think these extra practices don't help the EEs, then I am glad you aren't on the staff.

Are you agreeing or disagreeing with me? I said the practices are for our team to improve and i don't care what other teams do.

It's obvious team Heup had been radically coaching up and rapid development of players in a short time frame. Hence this time fuels the fire.

.
Not all bowls are equal. Look at the crowds at the Orange bowl vs the Lending Tree Bowl. A good experience for EEs and recruits.

Notice we only have three running backs running reps. Lack of depth doesn't look good.

42 Bowl games i believe. Bet actual asses in the seats attendance is extremely low at most of the games to date.

It’s meaningful because it is on the national stage with young players watching. It’s time to show Tennessee is back to being relevant on the national stage! Go win Vols!!!!!GBO! Get that Orange Bowl victory and trophy!
