Monkeypox-alypse!!!!!

Why not just the truth?

But what is the truth? Let's look at it from a VNPF perspective:

  • There was previous discussion of a monkeypox outbreak by government entities, so this is obviously another [sic] plandemic. Truth!
  • The Wuhan lab was doing gain of function research on monkeypox, and this is the worst outbreak in modern times, so it must have been released on purpose. Truth!
  • HoochieKoochie on Telegram says it's a plot by Dems to steal the next elections. Truth!
  • It's just an easily transmissible strain that someone was unlucky to get, and our rapid transport world with risky behaviors let it propagate. No way in hell that's true.

I get it. You like to make a caricature of the politics forum but you can’t seem to stay away. I will try my best to address your bullet points without indulging your fetish too much.

- Your first two points are interesting and worthy of more discussion. It may or may not be true. If either are, it may or may not be a coincidence. I wouldn’t dismiss this as looney toon yet given what happened two years ago.

- I’d ignore the third bullet and stay away from HoochieKoochies channel. There’s probably not much true there, and sifting out the fact from fiction probably has a bad ROI.

- The fourth bullet needs to be unpacked more. It may or may not be true. Regardless, it lacks context that a lot of news organizations don’t want to discuss at this point.

WHO insists Pride Parades pose Low Monkeypox Risk because most transmission is linked to 'enclosed spaces' - but warns LGBT community that condoms will NOT prevent people catching it

  • Andy Seale, from the agency's HIV department, said he didn't see 'any reason to be concerned' over outbreak of monkeypox for people attending Pride
Pride parades pose little risk of spreading monkeypox because most transmission is linked to 'enclosed spaces' such as nightclubs, a World Health Organization adviser has hinted.

Andy Seale, from the agency's department for HIV, hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections, said in a briefing yesterday there was no 'enhanced risk' of transmission at the annual celebrations.

Many cases have been traced back to gatherings in indoor spaces, he said, where the virus transmits through physical touch.

He added that condoms would not stop someone from getting infected because skin lesions — that spread the virus — could open up all over the body.

A disproportionate number of monkeypox infections have been detected among gay and bisexual men globally and in the United States.

Europe's outbreak — which has now hit 400 cases — is suspected to have been driven by mass pride celebrations in Spain and a fetish festival in Belgium last month.

Georgia becomes NINTH US state to report cases of monkeypox after Peach state detects infection in man with recent international travel: US case tally jumps to 18

Georgia has become the ninth state to detect a monkeypox infection, health chiefs revealed Tuesday night — as the U.S. tally rose to 18.

Another three cases were spotted over the last 24 hours nationwide across the same number of states.

They included the infection in Georgia in a man from Atlanta who had a 'history of international travel' and a fourth in New York.

Cut your Number of Sexual Partners to help fight monkeypox, urges World Health Organization as it warns outbreak 'may not be containable'

People should reduce their number of sexual partners to help fight the spread of monkeypox, the World Health Organization has urged.

Dr Hans Kluge, the head of WHO's European division, has warned the current outbreak of the tropical disease 'may not be containable'.

He warned Europe had become the new epicentre of the virus, with the outbreak linked to sexual transmission at raves and festivals on the continent.

Dr Kluge said that while cases have been concentrated in men who have sex with men, there was nothing stopping it from spreading to other groups.

So what steps are democrats willing to take to flatten the curve that they are most likely creating?

Pictured: First Monkeypox patient to go public is a Gay HR manager from London who was deported from Dubai just weeks ago for testing positive for HIV — and he claims he STILL hasn't been contact traced

The first British monkeypox patient to go public is an HR manager from London who caught the virus after being deported from Dubai for testing positive for HIV, MailOnline can reveal.

James M, 35, has spoken out after claiming that health chiefs still haven't contacted him despite being diagnosed with monkeypox nearly a fortnight ago.

James — who wished to keep his surname anonymous — admitted he is not following self-isolation rules because 'I was told to stay home until UKHSA contacted me... and they never did.'

James was readjusting to life in west London when he began suffering from 'really weird aches' in his lower back, exhaustion, extreme thirst and pain when he used the toilet.

He became convinced he had a sexually transmitted infection (STI) after sleeping with around 10 new partners in the weeks before his symptoms started.

They didn't even want people to be able to leave their house for covid, but it's unthinkable here to even suggest cutting down on butt buddies.

I saw a headline that said “Monkeypox can be airborne”.

How shameful. They can’t even deal with the truth. Trying to scare people that have no reason to be concerned. Disgusting.

You must be so scared

So the CDC raised the alert level and recommended masks for travelers - then after criticism removed the mask recommendation. Pretty clear you don't get the MP from traveling and breathing the air of other travelers.

CDC keeps stepping in it.

CDC Shifts Monkeypox Mask Guidance After Criticism
This just goes to show that they are chomping at the bits to bring back mask mandates.

Why? Why do you think "they" want masks?
Why else would they issue a directive like that for something that isn’t even airborne? I think doofus also recently mentioned something about bringing masks back on airplanes (not 100% sure on that).
