"That guy" is annoying

"Dat Dude" is the dude with his chest painted that just didn't quite make it all the way through the 4th before giving in to his whiskey and coke. "Dat dude" is acceptable

Cool, I've always thought of myself more as a "this guy" than a "that guy" but could have been "dat dude" once or twice. As long as I'm not the "other guy", I guess that I'm in good shape.

GAMEDAY, BABY!!! For those old enough to know the truth: THIS is the biggest week of the year in Tennessee. Screw Florida, Georgia, and the rest.

A couple of observations on the last 4 pages:

Welcome to a couple of new, sensible Bama fans -- yes, we ALL (or most of us :birgits_giggle: ) know who "that guy" is, and yes, we have a few of them around here. Forgive their stereotypical generalizations about you. MOST of us understand and appreciate this storied rivalry. My hope is that the legal garbage from the past few years is behind us, and we can get on with one of the best traditions in the SEC.

The "streaks" that have so characterized this series, IMO, are part of what makes it such a heated rivalry. Nothing better than whipping your opponent for the better part of a decade, and nothing worse than losing a bunch in a row.

I agree -- tough to get a "sense" on this game. Both teams have underachieved, I believe, for most of the year. UT played a good half against LSU, Alabama was on against UF. But, both have looked vulnerable. Lots of question marks. Anyone, on EITHER side, who isn't nervous right now is either on Valium or doesn't have a clue.

Good luck to both teams, and GO VOLS!
