Do you all think that Sears will stay for another year?

Foster looked good running the ball but he needs to work on pass protection.  He wasn't helping Ainge back there.

That's why he hasn't been playing more backup up until GR got hurt, he'd make a good bull fighter OLE!!!

yes next year the schedule is in our favor, but when it is all said and done i think that next year i think we will be in a better boat. pf better fix the disipline issues. i dont want to have to play alabama next year and we have 12 arrests this summer and for them to make a shirt that says "got twelve" and also has all of the players faces on the shirt. :cross:

question, why was what i said negative. i stated an obvious fact that we were overated this year. i also put a positive note on it saying that if hening is our OC next year he could be our savior. please explain. :biggrin2:

98% of the garbage you ever post is negative. Sure UT was ove but on what makes you think UT could only win 2 of those games unless they get Henning? UT does not need an "offensive mastermind" (although it would be nice) to get back on top, they just need discipline. Maybe I was a little too rough on you, but it seems like you never have anything positive to say about the program.

true i've been pretty negative, and pretty hard on phil. there is a reason for that, there is not alot to be optomistic about in my opinion. ainge has not played well all year, crompton is hurt and we haven't seen him yet, no other QB's. the lone bright spot on the offense next season is foster, he looks like agreat young runningback. we lose 3 starters on the O line which was suppose to be our best ever. that don't give me alot to be optomistic about on offense. cory anderson plays hard, but is a mixed bag. the D which you never heard me say anything negative about is the class of our team. i think they will again be one of the best. i really don't think having cutcliffe come back is the answer, ilike henning. maybe if we can the offensive line coach, wide recievers coach, then Cut can get guys in there that he is not as close with. i believe all that loyalty has got us in this situation to begin with. that is the main reason i like henning.

First I should say that I am in favor of really opening the offense. TT OC or Brohm from Louisville. I don't think its going to happen.

I am also not unhappy with the idea of Cut coming back because of his track record with QBs, but I agree with your point SD. Maybe an NFL coach will bring a professional attitude that will translate to the players. It will help them put personal differences aside, and perform professionally as they should.

hey i never thought of brohm of louisville. i think he would be agreat pick to. he's young and if he does well could take over when phil exits.

Why don't you and Sarge go start an "I hate UT" site with a bunch of Bammers.  This was meant to be a positive post and once again you have nothing but negativity to sling.

Here we go again. Some people on here think that if you're upset about our team this year being 3-5, who supposedly had 2 great QB's, a great OL, RB and the best WR's, ranked #3 at the start of the season, aren't real UT fans and need to go join another team's bandwagon.

I guess those who aren't upset are the real UT fans, huh?

Sorry, but I'm still feeling upset and I still feel like a UT fan who has had season tickets for 30 years. I guess it didn't work on me.

I firmly believe D-Mo will be one of the starters next year. I don't know where, though, because he is capable of playing corner or safety.

i agree foster look like a stud,  but if we can't throw the ball we are not going to improve.  next year will all depend on our Qb and how well he plays.

On the contrary, QB has been the problem this year. Foster does need to do a much better job blocking. What's up with Cory Anderson dropping all those passes?

last i looked tvolfan tennessee may be the most overated team in college football.  cutcliff i don't believe is going to come in and have amajor impact.  the other teams i listed have better coaching staff's and i believe it will show.  the only way i see us winning even 2 of those games is if we hire dan henning if he wants the job fulmer should tell him to buy a house in knoxville,  before he changes his mind.  he is the offensive mastermind we have been looking for.

Where is the information that Dan Henning is interested in the OC job?

When exactly lex, have I ever said Sanders should keep his job? Never. I am just as upset as anyone about what has gone on but I don't see anything wrong with a little optimism every now and then.

Just making a point holdem. Goes back to my fiery disposition when people start telling others what to do.

I am the one that started this gloriously optimistic post. :D :D :D
