More spying by the democrats? Kanye West campaign spied on?

I believe that the dems would be worried about Kanye, so why not spy on him?? You know he is going to get some votes, and that is going to be a big split for Trump.

No he’s not. That’s just stupid. You are just assuming that African Americans will vote in meaningful numbers for a black famous person. They won’t.

If he pulls anybody in numbers it will be the younger crowd that follows his music, regardless of race or ethnicity. And yeah that hurts Biden more than Trump.

Shoot, you’ve got to be kidding me, right?? Trust me, he is going to get a lot of votes. Even a lot of the left likes Kanye’s music.

Nonsense. The hilarity is that many Republicans will not vote for Trump, but can't quite Go Joe. So, it's "screw it... Kanye!".

All his votes will be from Republicans.

It is very telling that the Trump campaign thinks like this. This is a desperate stunt. The Trump campaign knows that they can't lure blacks to vote for Trump, so they have to work to advance the candidacy of a third party, solely based on that third party being a celebrity. This isn't the type of strategy that a campaign uses, when they are confident that they are going to win. It's a silly and pathetic stunt that just makes Trump look desperate. It's too transparent in its intentions to be effective, and it is the sort of stunt that makes a mockery of the democratic process. The "Kanye West for President" campaign stunt is also quite insulting to black voters with its way-too-obvious purpose.

Lane Ruhland, the Trump campaign attorney, who was collecting petitions on behalf of the "Kanye West campaign" and hand delivering them, is guilty of a pretty serious ethics violation which could lead to the suspension of her license to practice law. An attorney can not simultaneously represent two separate and distinct political campaigns that are vying for election to the same office. That is a rather obvious conflict of interest.

This is such simple-minded logic, and it is insulting to black voters.
What is insulting about it to black voters? It’s just that simple, that a lot of black voters will vote for him. It will draw a lot of the leftist to his side, because they simply love him and his music.

Yee keeps screwing up the petition process to get on state ballots. Very few folks will be voting for him.

The insinuation that black people will cast their votes in an election for President of the United States, in favor of an entertainer with no credentials for the office, just because that entertainer is black, and "they simply love him and his music" is insulting to black voters. You would never imply that white people will cast their votes for President of the United States for Britney Spears - just because she is white, and "they simply love her and her music". Do you see how ridiculous this is, when you change the race of the entertainer to white instead of black, and suggest that white people will make a decision on a matter as serious as voting for President of the United States, based on such trivial criteria as "loving his/her music"?

The political objective of this campaign stunt is way too obvious. Blacks are smarter than you are giving them credit for. They can sense when they are being manipulated by a disingenuous ploy. It is insulting to their intelligence. Why not fight harder to appeal for the votes of black people by emphasizing the merits of Trump's presidency to them? Why does he want them to vote for a third party candidate? If his presidency has been as good for the black population as he insists it has been, then a stunt like this shouldn't be necessary.

Besides, West's name is being rejected in most jurisdictions anyway, for using fake names on petitions. That is called campaign fraud. New Jersey is one of the states that has rejected his petitions.

Kinda ironic considering Trump's people have been working to get him on the ballot, and we are seeing all these fraudulent signatures.
And they aren't even trying to make the petitions seem legit. The names "Jon Bon Jovi" and "Bruce Springsteen" were on a petition in New Jersey. How hard did they think that was going to be to fact check?

It is laughable that folks think the DNC is spying on Yee. Yee can't even get the right number of signatures to get on state ballots without faking them, as shown by the voting fraud his campaign committed in Illinois with fake signatures, including Bernie Sanders. He might end up on one or two state ballots, but otherwise, Yee is a non-factor in this election.

This is the dumbest campaign stunt I've ever seen. It makes the Michael Dukakis tank ride look presidential. Only a Trump campaign would even think of something this ridiculous.
