The insinuation that black people will cast their votes in an election for President of the United States, in favor of an entertainer with no credentials for the office, just because that entertainer is black, and "they simply love him and his music" is insulting to black voters. You would never imply that white people will cast their votes for President of the United States for Britney Spears - just because she is white, and "they simply love her and her music". Do you see how ridiculous this is, when you change the race of the entertainer to white instead of black, and suggest that white people will make a decision on a matter as serious as voting for President of the United States, based on such trivial criteria as "loving his/her music"?

The political objective of this campaign stunt is way too obvious. Blacks are smarter than you are giving them credit for. They can sense when they are being manipulated by a disingenuous ploy. It is insulting to their intelligence. Why not fight harder to appeal for the votes of black people by emphasizing the merits of Trump's presidency to them? Why does he want them to vote for a third party candidate? If his presidency has been as good for the black population as he insists it has been, then a stunt like this shouldn't be necessary.

Besides, West's name is being rejected in most jurisdictions anyway, for using fake names on petitions. That is called campaign fraud. New Jersey is one of the states that has rejected his petitions.
Now how pissed were you at Biden for all his racist assumptions?

Black people think a like.
If you dont vote for me you ain't black.

You've expressed more anger here at a fellow poster than I have seen you discuss Bidens comments. Why is that?

Joe Biden's comment was "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black," with Charlamagne tha God on "The Breakfast Show" back in May. I posted several messages at the time that it was a bizarre and stupid thing to say. I don't think Biden meant for that to be taken seriously. It was a misguided attempt at humor and playing it cool, but it was still a very dumb and insulting thing to say, nevertheless. Sorry you missed those posts, but I definitely made them.

Seems a lot more levelheaded a response than what I saw here.

But you went ballistic when Trump asked Russia to find Hillary’s emails. You took that as serious.

It is very telling that the Trump campaign thinks like this. This is a desperate stunt. The Trump campaign knows that they can't lure blacks to vote for Trump, so they have to work to advance the candidacy of a third party, solely based on that third party being a celebrity. This isn't the type of strategy that a campaign uses, when they are confident that they are going to win. It's a silly and pathetic stunt that just makes Trump look desperate. It's too transparent in its intentions to be effective, and it is the sort of stunt that makes a mockery of the democratic process. The "Kanye West for President" campaign stunt is also quite insulting to black voters with its way-too-obvious purpose.

Lane Ruhland, the Trump campaign attorney, who was collecting petitions on behalf of the "Kanye West campaign" and hand delivering them, is guilty of a pretty serious ethics violation which could lead to the suspension of her license to practice law. An attorney can not simultaneously represent two separate and distinct political campaigns that are vying for election to the same office. That is a rather obvious conflict of interest.
It’s very telling that you pen his decision on Trump.

It’s not very telling you write another wall of text on it though. I guess you work thru your rationalizations in real time via written method. 😂

An attorney for the Trump campaign, Lane Ruhland, is on video filmed by a local station in Wisconsin, collecting signatures for a petition to have Kanye West added to the ballot for the presidential election. Her name is also on a recent legal filing as a representative of the Trump campaign. (That's an ethics violation for her, as a conflict of interest. An attorney can't simultaneously represent two candidates vying for the same office.) Whoever's decision it may have been, it is clear that the Trump campaign wants Kanye West on the ballot. That sure sounds like a desperate stunt to me. Trump actually believes that Kanye West has a better chance of pulling black votes away from Biden than he does. PATHETIC.

Oh there’s no doubt that Trump would like to see Yee on the ballot. However you’re FOS claiming you’ve proved he actually orchestrated it.

I guess you missed this part: An attorney for the Trump campaign, Lane Ruhland (who is a woman), is on video filmed by WISN-TV in Milwaukee, collecting signatures for a petition and hand delivering the petition to the Wisconsin Elections Commission to have Kanye West's name added to the ballot in Wisconsin. She is now facing an ethics complaint for a conflict of interest. An attorney can't simultaneously represent two candidates vying for the same office.

Yes, that is called "orchestrating it".
