Fire fighters and policemen in dangerous cities deserve a lot more than they currently make. I don't know about 200k

no they don't. being a taxidriver or a crab fisherman is far more dangerous and i don't see them making six figures in retirement.

that's a lot, but considering the importance of firefighters in that region and the cost of living, maybe it's fairer than it appears. i don't know. don't they start out at like 75k out there?

Looks like I've found a reason to move to LA. I spent the first two years out of high school as a volunteer fireman for a small community.

$200k is way overboard, though. Like $100k too much.

That lack of management is directly attributable to leftist douchebags (or environmentalist nazis) who go to court to prevent the US Forest Service from engaging in preventive measures to keep undergrowth to a minimum and remove old, dead and fallen trees.
