Obama being terrible has nothing to do with his skin color. He's just not a good president Morgan. Sorry.

Totally viable, but you can't say there aren't people out there (who usually know nothing about politics) that hate the guy strictly because of his name or skin color. You also have the idiots who believe he is a Muslim sleeper for Al Qaeda.

True, but they are not the majority and will not be why he loses next year IMO. I doubt MF is really worried about those types, and Im not sure he is talking about them. Racist, bigots are not the reason why his poll numbers are dropping.

"Racist" is not worth what it used to be, it has gotten so watered down that when its really there the term "racist" doesn't cover it properly.

You can say that about any group; people get crucified when people lump all Muslims with Muslim extremist terrorists, yet here's someone lumping any Tea Party member with those that are racist.

It's stupid no matter which group you are lumping together and he should be called out, yet he won't be.

The "racist" members are outspoken.

Morgan is pissed because Obama is sliding hard. He pitched the "people want him to lose because he's black", and it doesn't fit. The people that want him to lose because he is black are racist and not gonna vote for him anyway. These group will not vote Obama out. He will lose because he has been a bust.

I do have a question. Would Morgan Freeman be considered "racist" if the only reason why he vote for Obama is because he is black? Just a general question for anyone to answer.

Looks like he is, since you definitely aren't the first to address this.

Question, does it take a microphone to pose legitimate criticism these days? How many people have accused the TP of being racist? Why is Morgan Freeman worth being called out as opposed to the undoubted thousands or even millions making the same claim?

Is it because he's black?

Okay, that last question was a joke. I couldn't help myself. But the bulk of my post still stands.

True. Just like it cannot be denied that some people voted for him simply because he is black. Both of those groups of people, the ones who hate him and the ones who love him because of race, are dipweeds.

If it's anything this board has taught me, it's that most American voters seem to be dipweeds.

I mean, we're human right?

Possibly to some degree or another. We aren't perfect. The goal is to minimize your flaws, I am not sure it is possible to eliminate them.

Bingo.

It's something you learn as you go. I know I had a reality check on just how "free of bigotry" I was when I worked a gratuity based job, for instance. Racism is such a tiny facet of prejudice. We can't expect ourselves to be perfect; only for our rationality to overtake our preconceived notions of the world as well as the folks who reside in it.

Agree.

1.If you did not vote for Obama because he is black you are racist.

2.If you voted for Obama because he is black, you are racist as well.

IMO.

The second you will not hear much about if at all.

Back to the original point. Obama is on the downhill slide in the polls and in regards to the job he has done. Racism has little to nothing to do with this.

Wonder if he's gonna break the disapproval polls of the last presidency. That'd make things interesting.

You are right. It's not like the racists liked him and suddenly decided not to. Those people were on the negative side of the polls from the start. It's the nonracists that are moving over to the dislike side.

You also have dems who think 9/11 was an inside job. Should we assume the entire democratic party thinks the same thing?

I know several Reps that think it was an inside job, too. I think we should assume some people think it was an inside job and stupidity really has no boundaries.

when someone throws out the racist card the argument is essentially over. There is no more debating issues and you're forced to defend that you're not one. It's a common tactic when the left is losing
